You want to know how a psychedelic experience is able to help you. If you just heard the word psychedelics the first time last week, or if you're an experience psychonaut who has seen it all. You are here because you have questions.
With very few exception, your country and laws have not been just and right about psychedelics. Instead of putting them in a category with drugs like cocaine, we believe that psychedelics can help you not only life your life, they can help you thrive.
It's time to put psychedelics where they belong, as powerful tools that you can leverage to improve yourself. It won't be easy but we believe that most people can gain valuable insights from a psychedelic experience. If you have a desire for self-development, this is for you.
Use the Protocol Wisely
The Psychedelics Protocol is here to help you grow through a psychedelic experience.
Life can be challenging, life can be hard. Take another perspective and see how the you can overcome the challenges you're facing. That is what a psychedelic experience is able to offer you if you take the time to prepare.
The Psychedelics Protocol is your free informational source to help you develop yourself. It offers guidance for preparation, the experience itself - and most important - the integration.
Recontextualize a challenging experience, solve a creative problem, or learn to appreciate things in a new way.
Who Made It?
The Psychedelics Protocol is made by an interdisciplinary team of psychologists, guides, and researchers. The advice given in the protocol is based on interviews, books, conference presentations, and direct work with clients.
Work by Stan Grof, James Fadiman, Françoise Bourzat, and other practicioners have helped build the foundations. Roland Griffiths, Robin Carhart-Harris, Matthew Johnson and many other researchers helped inform us how and why psychedelics work. Work with patients (as early as the 1950s) has given many insights on how to best use psychedelics.
We have combined this information and 'translated' it so you can make the most use of it. The whole protocol is free to use. Of all our income (donations and services), 30% will go to MAPS (making evidence-based treatments for mental health conditions) and StrongMinds (treating depression at scale).

You can get more out of a psychedelic experience!
You may have used a psychedelic (magic mushrooms/truffles, LSD, MDMA, and more) recreationally. Most probably, you had a great time and remember the experience fondly. But, you may not have had much lasting benefit from that experience. And for many people, that is not what they are after with a psychedelic experience. They just want to have a great time, safely.
The Psychedelics Protocol does give you a lot of information about harm-reduction and creating a safe set and setting. Yet, we believe a psychedelic experience can be so much more. Research, ongoing since the 1950s, has shown great potential for psychedelics in aiding creativity, self-development, healing of trauma, and improving general mental well-being.
The Psychedelics Protocol isn't a self-help guide with 10 steps towards happiness. It won't magically make you more content, calm, or creative. But it will give you the tools to have a richer psychedelic experience. It will offer guidance on how to prepare, hold a session (with a friend), and integrate this special experience.
Our mission is to make psychedelics information more widely available. So that psychedelics for self-development and therapy becomes more quickly and widely accepted. This protocol is one of our efforts to make this happen.
We offer you two free protocols. One is for personal use, the other is written for professionals (therapists, councilors, doctors). Please select one.
